Sue Harper I found the ending unsatisfactory - Maya was willing to let the person she allegedly loved go to prison for something he didn’t do? And she knew he didn’t do it. Then she comes waltzing in saying she’s going to Williams! A friend and I rewrote the ending having the last chapter in Lily’s voice, talking about Maya coming over, tripping at the top of the stairs and then it all went black and silent.

Judith YES, the ending is unsatisfying & also unbelievable...in what legal system does withholding evidence under oath & conspiring to send an innocent man to prison for life go unpunished?! The cause of death being ruled "accidental" is immaterial!
