What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

C.P. Murphy To not give up! If I had a dime for every time I heard that writing doesn't pay the bills and that it could only ever be a hobby; I'd have more money in the bank than I earned from book sales. I say, if you like doing it, if you have a story to tell, then do it, tell it. The world might not be impressed with your final draft but you definitely will be proud of yourself for sticking it out!
