I've been working on another paranormal romance but have been on and off with it for a while now. Lately I've been spending more time trying to break into freelance writing and copy writing than I have been working on anything fictional.

To not give up! If I had a dime for every time I heard that writing doesn't pay the bills and that it could only ever be a hobby; I'd have more money in the bank than I earned from book sales. I say, if you like doing it, if you have a story to tell, then do it, tell it. The world might not be impressed with your final draft but you definitely will be proud of yourself for sticking it out!

The best thing about being a writer is that I can make things up as I go along. Its almost like being an actress, I can be something different anytime I want.

If I have writer's block after already starting a story, I sit in a quiet place and try to connect with my character. See what he/she is going through, try to understand him, and hope to get back into the spirit.
