Daniya
Daniya asked Lawrence Wright:

Hello Mr. Wright, how are you doing? I'am a MA student and I'am doing a research paper about the representation of contemporary forms of war mentioned in your novel The End of October. And I would like to hear from you... what message did you really want to indicate presenting forms of war and war literature in the novel?

Lawrence Wright Thanks, Daniya. I was a conscientious objector during Vietnam, and have always had a horror of war. The message I have in "The End of October" is that war is evolving to be more awful and indiscriminate.
