I thought I really liked being a non-fiction writer about serious stuff. Then I decided to never do anything that I used to do when I got paid to do it. In other words, I retired. Since then, I have had a blast at exploring memoir and all of the emotions. Men, you see, only master humor and anger. I have had the learn about the rest, then how to recognize what happens to a person in each case, then how to write about that, and finally how to write so that you the reader will experience what I experienced. So then I got the courage to tackle fiction. Way more fun than the old boring academic stuff I used to write.

Do you remember the time the E-1b landing left of center and putting a main gear in the ditch so to speak, (port catwalk) ? Everyone "bingo" to Bodoe waiting for the cyclops to pull his ass out. We were "Flash Gordons" to those babes in Norway. Helmets on, seek kits, flight bags....damn they thought we were "Gods".
