How did you get the idea to work with Mark Oshiro for your Nico standalone book? Was there a certain reason for this, and why Oshiro?

Writing a whole book from the perspective of two LGBTQIA+ characters (Will and Nico), I felt strongly that I wanted to co-write 50%/50% with a great LGBTQIA+ author who could bring a more authentic perspective and sensibility to the story. Mark came to the story with a different point-of-view and a different writer's "toolbox" than I have, and I think that made the story twice as good. It was a fascinating experience learning to blend my style with theirs, and I learned a lot! As for why Mark Oshiro in particular, I read their writing and loved it!
