I thought maybe it had skipped forward 50 years to a time when immersive virtual reality had been invented, so when I realised that it was just a normal game from that era I was doing mental gymnastics trying to imagine how a game could possibly achieve all of that. The way they spoke inside the game was strange too…. Maybe I have to re read it. (less)
