Goodreads asked Samyukta B:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Samyukta B When I experience writer's block, I just let go of whatever I was writing for a time. I go read a book or drink some coffee and remove my thinking cap and keep it aside for a while. After I've relaxed for a bit, I come back to what I was working on. This routine usually helps me change the perspective, of the written piece, I had had before. I edit my piece, change the voice, look up for a synonym or try exchanging a few lines here and there. If none of those work, I keep that draft aside for reference and write it from start in different version.
