While this book does feature sapphic characters and (spoiler alert) the sapphic protagonist ends up getting together with her (female) love interest, the plot of the novel itself is less about a romance and focuses more on a key theme of identity. Basically, it's not going to be a straight-up sapphic romance, but it IS a mystery novel where multiple characters work through the process of figuring themselves out and exploring queer identity.
