What education would you suggest to an aspiring writer?

This one is easy. Pick an education that is going to lead you to a day job you love. It doesn't matter if it is medical, service industry, art, childcare..... just love your day job. This is going to be where you get your fuel for ideas and pay your bills while you write. Do NOT get a writing degree! It won't help you be a great writer. Very few successful authors became successful through a writing degree. They got their vibe and their voice by loving their day jobs.

Hi, I have noticed a lot of your inspiration comes from topics you research (being a college librarian), but I was curious as to what gave you the idea for 'Until the Dawn', it is a fascinating story with really complex characters and a twist I certainly didn't see coming. Being a writer is what I want the most in this world, nothing makes me happier than writing, but I'm more and more frustrated with each passing day, because I've been blocked for 3 years. And it is not that I have an unfinished story. I have NOTHING AT ALL. A blank page in front of me, that only makes me sadder... Is there a way to overcome this? How do you handle it?
