Kate, I’ve read maybe 150 books since the start of the pandemic and Radium Girls is still my favourite. Such a sad and harrowing story, but immensely interesting and so well written and researched. Can’t wait for your next book!?

Hi Kim! Sorry for slow reply - I've not been able to work this summer so only catching up now! Thank you so much for your very kind comments about The Radium Girls. (And wow re 150 books - that's impressive! I can't believe my book is your favourite from all of those!)
I'm not sure if you've read The Woman They Could Not Silence yet, but that was the book I wrote and published after The Radium Girls. It has some similar themes so I hope you enjoy it if you read it. It tells the true story of an American housewife from the 1860s who is sent to an insane asylum by her husband just because she disagrees with him... As for a book after that, I'm currently researching possible ideas, so watch this space.
Wishing you much happy continued reading with the next 150 books!

I loved The Radium Girls. Has to be one of the best books I've ever read. These women were incredible; what they went through and they continued to work and to deal with the legal system. I am unsure why there aren't documentaries on them. I was checking online and youtube when I was reading the book; trying to find something. These women should be more well-known than they are. Why?

Like many, I want to thank you for giving a voice to these women and their families. All because a rich man wanting to make himself richer. And the disregard for human life continued in Radium City! That poor town. My question: where do you get the most money when people buy your books in ebook form? I know stores take a portion of the sales and some stores take less than others. Thank you!

I'm reading THE WOMAN THEY COULD NOT SILENCE and its brilliant. RE: Radium Girls. I'd check into where they got the idea for that book.... They include the dial-painters. Making fictional characters based on real people is usually how it works in Hollywood. Your agent might want to do a little research?
