I loved your book. One question I have, were there any women of color involved in the work of the dial painting?

Hi Lynn. Thanks for reading - I'm glad you liked it. From the records I've seen, I haven't come across any women of color doing dial-painting in the 1920s and 1930s. This may have been because it was such a sought-after job; perhaps racism prohibited women of color from landing the lucrative positions (that is just conjecture). I did find a couple of African-American men who worked for the company in New Jersey though.

I don't have a question? Bbut I just wanted to say how much I appreciate it that you wrote The Radium Girls. I found it a fascinating read in my parent's generation and those girls came alive for me. My fascination with the book was the way you showed each girl as a human being. I continue to pray for them every day since you told me their story. Thank you.
