Hi my name is Ava and I am a huge fan of the Ascendance series. It gave me a world to escape to when I did not like the world I was in. It has inspired me to write poetry and enter some contests. I wanted to ask you, what was your inspiration for the Ascendance series and why did you want to write it? Is there a possibility of a movie in the near future? Thanks!

Hi Ava;
I'm so glad you've enjoyed the Ascendance series!
When my daughter was young, she loved these Barbie DVD’s. I hated them – they made my brain melt. But IF she had to watch one, the one I hated the least was Princess and the Pauper, the story of a princess and a poor girl who have to switch places to help each other. I think somewhere in my imagination, the very beginning of The False Prince, this story of murder, danger, and deceit, might’ve begun with a Barbie movie!
And a movie is always a possibility. Keep your fingers crossed!

Hi! I'm a huge fan of Ascendance Trilogy, its my fave series.I was wondering, is Roden coded as gay?It seems like his feelings for Jaron go deeper than friendship, and he seems to grapple internally with a lot of these feelings when paired w/competition&betrayal in TFP&TRK,&in TST a lot of his comments to Jaron seem to imply those feelings are still there.I&a lot of other lgbt fans feel a sense of brotherhood w/him.

Hello! I absolutely love your books and have a request. I would love for you to write another trilogy/series or extend the ones you already wrote. I am so connected to all of your books and now I can't read anything else. I don't remember the last time I read a book from a different author! And I also have a question, have you been writing books/stories since you were a like a teenage? Thanks!
