Thank you! It depends a lot on the book--some I can finish in a matter of weeks, others require a lot more time trying to figure things out. Any W&G books that centered on Griffin's issues (such as Stormhaven) always took forever compared to the ones centering Whyborne!

I love getting peeks into your writing process as you casually mention rewrites or outlining or funny typos on twitter and was wondering if you might share your writing process, and how much time you spend? Do you write scenes/lines that come to you immediately, regardless of placement, or does that not really happen to you? 'Write a novel' is my 2015 goal, and I'm curious about others' processes!

Hi I appologise in advance if this has been asked before. I am currently reading Fallow and I started to wonder if you had all the books planned ahead of time. I mean did you know while writing book one that Griffin would develop shadow sight or that they would one day return to Griffins home town? And do you already have a ending planned for the series?
