What drew you to initially write about the medieval era and then to concentrate on that time period rather than pursue the more popular time frame of the Highlanders and their fight for Scotland's freedom from English rule?

Glynnis Campbell Great question! My first love was not for the place, but the time period. I adored medieval times--knights, castles, chivalry, King Arthur, Robin Hood--from the time I was a child. Then I married a Campbell and learned all about Scotland. Since most authors were writing medievals set in England, I thought it would be fun/interesting/challenging to write stories set in Scotland!
