Jeffrey asked Glynnis Campbell:

IN A CASTLE, FROM YOUR RESSEARCH, WHICH WORKER/SERVANT WOULD YOU CONSIDER TO BE THE MOST IMPORTANT AND WHY?

Glynnis Campbell I'm not sure any one person was more important than the rest. A castle wouldn't function without all of its workers, any more than you could sail a clipper ship all alone. Though the steward performed a key role, being in charge of all the servants, he mostly delegated work to others. I suppose it comes down to survival. So I think maybe the cook was the most important, since he knew how to take raw ingredients and make them into food.
