How would you pronounce "Dendarii" and Galeni? I recently listened to a couple of audiobooks and in one, it was "den DAIRY" and in the other the same reader said "den DAIRY-eye" (and "guh LEN eye"). I've always thought of them as "den DAHR ee" and "guh LEN ee".

I pronounce them much as you do: den-DARE-ee, guh-LEAN-ee.
The audiobooks narrator and I caught up with each other at one point and corrected some of his earlier pronunciations, hence the inconsistency.

Apologies if someone has already asked these: Have you read Everina Maxwell's books? They reminded me of your work, and I later found she lists you as a major influence. Also, were you involved with hiring Grover Gardner as a narrator of the VK books, and/or did you have any interactions with him as he worked on them? Miles has his voice when I read the saga. Thanks for writing your books!

I'm rereading the Penric stories yet again, enjoyment undiminished, and it seems to me that Nikys has become a bit of an author's problem. Would you agree? Up to "The prisoner of Limnos" she was a full part of the story, but then her status changed, and the problem is what to do with her now. Although there's still plenty of room for more stories about Penric before he met her.
