Shawn Robinson asked Phyllis Moore:

Hey Phyllis! I was reading your blog the other day about your roof being replaced and how you went somewhere else to do your thinking/reading/writing. What difference does general "noise" make in your writing? Do you find it hard to write in a noisy environment?

Phyllis Moore Everyday noice doesn't usually bother me. But men overhead tearing my roof apart and then replacing it with loud machinery, gets to me.

My apartment building has new owners and have a large remodeling plan in the works. When it get too noisy for me, I leave.

With no distractions from home, I'm getting a lot of work done.
