Our family moved to suburbia in 2017 from Martha’s Vineyard after 26 years on-island. And I wanted to create a memento for my children to remind them of their fairy tale like childhood by writing them a book…but it turned dark and into something completely different.

Are you working on a sequel about how to re-enter mainstream life? I just finished Noah's Rejects and laughed, cried, and recognized people and situations.
