This is actually my first name too, and my parents pronounced it with the long "A" sound like you hear in the name Adam or Arrow.... Shaa-ruh, so thats how ive always pronounced it. The Hebrew and Latin versions of the name seem to also pronounce it this way, but in my life I have met many people who have difficulty pronouncing the long "A" sound. They tend to make it sound more like Share-ruh, or Shah-ruh...and ive learned to just let them say it that way rather than constantly having to correct them.
