Goodreads asked Patrick Scott:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Patrick Scott This is hard because of all the things about being a writer that I know are better than anything on their own. To that end, I'm going to give two of the many answers.

1. Freedom to explore things. Because I write, I can dip into a variety of minds, places, genres and countless other aspects just by starting to string the words togethers. Some will be amazing and others will need quite a bit of work, but that's not a bad process either.

2. I feel the best when I'm doing it. The very act of creating makes me feel amazing. There's so much that I can talk about it this regard, but suffice it to say that the very act of the telling changes me in such powerful and good ways.

Many more after that, but those are really good parts about getting to write.
