How do you get inspired to write?

Patrick Scott After seeing the benefits to me of writing daily, I do it everyday regardless of how I feel. Some days that means I'm completely lost in the act and feel the soaring connection to writing. Other days, it can be a struggle. Therefore, I'm inspired to do it because it makes me feel better, cope with things going on (even if they're not directly tied to what I'm writing) and I'm always a better person for having done it.

Plus, there's some really cool characters and stories coming out of the act of writing.
