Peter E. Fenton In a house I once lived in, they were doing some work on the foundation and excavating in the lower crawl space. The contractor found bones. It was clear that they had been there for many years. As a precaution the police were called. I was later told that they were animal bones, but there were a lot of suspicious "other" things they found including bottles that contained an acid. That was over 30 years ago, and I have always wondered if I was told the truth about what they found and who would go to the trouble to bury bones in the basement near bottles of acid.
