For years I kept a journal and added quotes from your books that resonated with me. I don't know which book two quotes came from: #1 “The list went on and on. There was not telling, she said, what she would be next. And I thought “I want to be like that. I want to be like her. Not just one thing, but a world of possibilities. I want to find out who else I can be.” Maybe Memory? Do I have the quote right?

I think that was Elena, when she was explaining opting out of the Dendarii mercenaries to Miles; so somewhere in the first few chapters of Memory. Unless it was Kareen somewhere -- both young women were certainly infuenced by Cordelia.

I've been listening -- again -- to the audiobook of "Captain Vorpatril's Alliance" and paying extra attention to Simon and Shiv's interaction. It occurred to me to wonder if Simon knew (from the Arquas) that the elevator to the bunker had been blown up and that was why he questioned the "marked clear" designation. Until the mycoborer, that was the only entrance, presumably. Or might that be one of your rare oops?

Long time fan of the Vorkosigan saga. (long story but I'm just here to ask a questions about it.) Is Gentleman Joel and the Red Queen going to be the last book? HOw many kids does Gregor have(It mentions in the books he had a few but no names or how many)? Does Ivan have a child(In Gentleman Joel is mentioned him and Tej are still together and thinking about kids)?

There's a story I don't think I've ever found. In the list of Miles' stories, it's when he's 25. And the blurb says it involves Simon, changing bones for Miles and in a hospital, and foiling a plot against his father. Supposedly, the title is Borders of Infinity, but that story is about a Cetagandan prison camp, according to the collection Miles Errant. Am I missing something?
