I do keep my own series encyclopedia that I refer to. With so many books in some of the series it is necessary to have that.
Yes, characters have to "speak" to me for me to tell their story.
I've tried planning, but you'd be surprised at how many times I think I'm writing a certain character's story just to be told by a different one that I'm writing his/hers instead. LOL

My favorite series is the Ghostwalker series, so yesterday while watching a youtube video I saw the short BMW film "The Escape". I was really enjoying when it hit me that it remind me of your series. Genetic experimentation , Mercenaries and the girls have been named after Flowers just like in your book. I believe Dakota Fanning was Lily , but she mention Rose, Tulip and Daffodil.It was weird,have you seen it?
