Part 1 of another couple of questions from me … split into two because of the space limitation. Up to the end of CVA, there are a few hints that Alys and Simon *might* consider getting married at some point. I would love to know more about what they are thinking. Also, other characters speculate about them using the replicator to have biological kid(s) of their own, but Simon and Alys never seem to mention it?

In order to answer this question and the following -- which is going to get separated btw -- I would have to stop and make stuff up. Which I am disinclined to do just at the moment. Perfectly reasonable question, mind, and I'm pleased that the characters seem real enough to you that you're still thinking about them after the book is closed, but working through the many possibilities seems more a task for the ficcers, who routinely work in multiverses.

Lois McMaster Bujold:
Good morning! Just wanted to say hello, and mention something a friend and I were discussing. As we've grown older, fiction has begin to become less interesting, and the real world has become more and more fantastical. I'm unsure if this is an effect of age, or if reality has simply reached a bizarre enough state of technological advancement that we from the previous state are having trouble processing it. Thoughts?

I hope you're having a lovely day, Ms Bujold. I was wondering if there was any chance of you attending NerdCon: Stories? The possibility of your attendance is probably just wishful thinking on my part, but I'm sure the panels and conversations being held there would benefit greatly from your input. And I (and the group I am going with,) would certainly be excited to see you in person!
