Does this book stand alone or should one read the first two about the Perez family?

Kristen It’s most beneficial if you read them all, and do your best to read them in the order of publishing. I found The Most Beautiful Girl in Cuba in a bookstore once, not knowing it was part of a series, and read it first. Then I read Next Year in Havana, When We Left Cubs, and The Last Train to Key West, all in that order.
Guusje Read them in order - which is not as they were written. I read them as they came out and I had trouble keeping up with who was who and ow they were related to each other
Sandy Barrera This series is so good. I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want to start with the first book. Do your self a favor and read them in order. 😄
Jennifer I would say that it could be read as a stand-alone. Things from the past books are mentioned, but I don't think you would not understand what is going on.
