This question contains spoilers. At the end of the book Savannah locks her mom in her room. But what was that last paragraph all about? Had the mother actually been kind to Savannah? (....running a bath, ...extra blanket etc. ) Had Savannah made up all the abuse or what????? I loved the book but was totally confused about that.
