Would you recommend the book to ESL students? Are there too many Welsh words that will put an additional strain on foreign readers?

Pam The language is arranged in a different word order than most English vernacular: “Come, you.” vs “Come with me.” Also, many of the words are older English: “trews” for “trousers” which can be puzzled out by using a dictionary. But yes, there is an added layer of effort to read this book.
