This maybe one of the reasons Huw was leaving. She did lock her bedroom door every night and it was frowned upon to marry your brother's wife in Victorian times.
Yes I think Huw was a father and was unable to find Ceinwen as the whole family moved away to another valley.(less)

Restricted by morals, tradition, religion, family values. To me he didn't have the freedom to be different. Although at the same time I can see how it would be these same restrictions that kept the community together - and happy in their ignorance.(less)
