Did anyone else notice the similarities between The Lincoln Highway, and the Coen brothers’ Oh Brother Where art Thou? Both entertaining escapades featuring prison escapees with lots of references to classical literature. I enjoyed both, but preferred the wry wit and humor, and the soundtrack of Oh Brother.

Interesting that you mention Oh Brother since it is a reinterpretation of The Odyssey. This novel takes place over 10 days, Odysseus was 10 years. I see lots of similar yin the 3 stories. That’s an Interesting comparison
