When I finished the third book of the series, I expected that it was the end. However, I can see how the third book does leave off on a bit of a cliffhanger (that wasn't intended). I don't currently have any plans to expand the series, but that could always change. As you say, there is a lot more story that could be told about these characters.

I'm a huge fan of your books, and I've read almost all of them! I've noticed that Mark of the Theif trilogy spells out MOTT, a character from Ascendance Series. Is that a coincidence, or did you name Mott because of the Mark of the Theif trilogy? Thank you for your amazing books! The idea of wanting to be a writer has been in my head for years, and you inspired me to believe that I CAN be one. I love your writing!
