What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Ruth Maille The best thing about being a writer is when children read my book and positively affect their lives. My first book, The Power of Positivity, was written during the beginning of the Covid Pandemic. My pre-school children were struggling with not understanding what was happening around them. After reading the book with them, many parents shared that their children began asking questions they didn't know how to articulate. It has helped with children's anxiety and allows them to see the positive things in the world and the kind people share. My book gave them hope in the uncertainty of the world.
