How do you get inspired to write?

Nancy Golden I don't think it is so much getting inspired to write, it is carving out time in my day to be able to. I work full-time and I am also the director of a writers group so I have to be very intentional about setting time aside to write. If I manage to do that, a cup of coffee and a couple of cookies are usually all of the inspiration I need - especially since I usually only have a very broad outline in my head of what I am writing and I can't wait to get to my keyboard to find out what happens next :)
