I recently read The Martian and instantly loved it. As someone who studied biology in undergrad and grad school, I really appreciated how meticulously researched it obviously was. My question is what scenes from the book would you be the most disappointed about being cut from the movie?

Andy Weir I can't really answer that because I've read the screenplay. So I know what has and hasn't been removed. And I can't comment on anything in the screenplay of course.

So I'll just say this: I'm very happy with the screenplay and they didn't remove anything I consider critical.
