Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marie Vibbert The Gods Awoke started as wanting to write a story of a non-telepath in a telepathic society, but it shortly turned into a rescue of a young man, and then you see the bad guy to be defeated was a powerful telepathic being who thought she was a goddess, and so the story evolved into being about that goddess, what made her tick, why she was wrong, how to find out ... and in the process I worked out a lot of my own feelings about religion in a secondary world setting.
