My sister moved to New Zealand in 2007 and I haven't seen her since. She was calling monthly for a few years, but then she got a divorce and now has a new boyfriend. I haven't spoken to her directly since 2020 and when my dad finally did reach her, she spoke only two sentences before hanging up the phone: I can't talk right now, and I'll call you later. We haven't heard from her since.
