R.D. Hayes Close your browser and get to writing the darn thing. Nothing is more of a distraction than the internet.
R.D. Hayes I play Need For Speed (Rivals) while listening to audio books. This game is addictive so be warned. But if you dare to take the plunge, you can find me under flo-rita007.
R.D. Hayes No longer having to live with all this creative knowledge in my head.
R.D. Hayes The second book in the Great Bandit series. I'm hoping this one won't take as long as the first one.
R.D. Hayes I have a chronic illness where I'm in bed more hours than I'm up. I'm hoping this will be fixed one day, but until then, it leaves me with plenty of time to think. My inspirations come from other books, movies, life experiences, and my kids who always come to me with what-if questions.
R.D. Hayes I spent 8 years in the US military, and I always wondered what it would be like to have an eidetic memory. Years ago, they would offer petty criminals an ultimatum of going to prison or fighting for their country, which is what happens in The Great Bandit. Most of the things in The Great Bandit were taken from my life experiences and experiences of my battle buddies.
R.D. Hayes My sister moved to New Zealand in 2007 and I haven't seen her since. She was calling monthly for a few years, but then she got a divorce and now has a new boyfriend. I haven't spoken to her directly since 2020 and when my dad finally did reach her, she spoke only two sentences before hanging up the phone: I can't talk right now, and I'll call you later. We haven't heard from her since.
R.D. Hayes I would travel to any place which offered super-human abilities. While there I'd create a potion which made me beast-out into a genius every time I had a hemiplegic migraine. Then it would make more sense for me to have them. I'd have them because my brain was overwhelmed with knowledge. Hey! That makes for a good plot line. See...genius already.
R.D. Hayes I suffer from Hemiplegic Migraines and Daily Chronic Migraines. My worst fear is that I will forever be stuck this way.
