What are you currently working on?

Jaime James I am currently working on a book about a stay in a mental health institution. When I was 12 years old I spent 6 weeks in a facility and am telling my story from my 12 year old perspective. I hope this work will bring awareness to mental health issues and mental health treatment facilities. I hope my story helps those who want to help understand what their young patients may be thinking or feeling.
This work is also another exercise in vulnerability for myself. I have had a lot of personal shame attached to this event in my early life. Even as an adult I still have people try to hurt me with this information. This is how I will free myself of any shame I have attached to the experience.
