My question is... If you decide to write another book will you follow this line of Love letters or will you try in another kind of genre?

Thank you so much for the beautiful note. I am so sorry for your loss and happy to know that the book helped in any way.
To answer your question, I don't think I will exactly repeat the idea of love letters, because for me it was intrinsic to this story. But, I do think that I will continue to play with different structures and ways of telling stories. I have an idea for a second book that I'm excited about. :)

Hi. One of the main reasons I read (and loved) your book was because I knew there was going to be a lot of Nirvana references. I wondered if Kurt was mentioned in there because you really like him, or if he had some kind of deeper impact in Laurel's story, or maybe if she just really liked him. Can you explain what kind of effect or benefit putting him in the story had, if there was any?
