I started reading back in fifth grade, a little before Wind Rider came out, and I quickly fell in love with the characters, world, and writing. I'm an upcoming writer that loses focus really fast, I get lazy and stop writing but the ideas are still in my head eager to be written out, my max number of words in my stories are 3000 and lower. How do I motivate myself to write more? How do I motivate myself to write my ideas? Should I stop counting my words? Should I write less words? Your opinion would be highly appreciated.
