What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Rennae Todd Decide on your genre and read widely in it as there will be a lot of variety while also a lot in common - tropes they are called. Keep an eye on what is selling in your genre, for example in cozy mysteries paranormal is very popular these days. Then read writing how-to's, choosing the best based on reviews and ratings and any written by your favourite authors. Never stop learning. But most of all, enjoy the writing, be brave, get outside your comfort zone.
