I really enjoyed the personality and mindset of the main character. Was it a conscious decision to portray him as courageous, optimistic and funny or is that a reflection of your own personality or possibly how you would feel in his situation? Thank you for a fantastic read, my 12 and 15 year old sons really enjoyed it as well!
