Hi! I am a huge fan of your books and I loved Dreamer's Pool. I have three questions, some of them fairly irrelevant I'm afraid: 1- How old is Blackthorn? 2- Will we see Oran and the princess again, or do the characters change with every book? Juliet Marillier Hi Cristina. (1) I deliberately don't say how old either Blackthorn or Grim is, because I prefer readers to imagine them in their own way. The clue is that Blackthorn says she's still of child-bearing years even though she may not look it; also we know that if her son had lived he would be 14. That narrows it down to only about a five year range, especially in that historical period. (2) Yes, you will see Oran and Flidais again but not as main characters - each book features a mystery with new characters, which B and G are called upon to solve. (3) November 2015.
