How can they condense all his diaries into one volume! I want this to be multiple volumes so we can read as much of his diaries as possible. If he was here to publish them himself I don't think he would have let a publisher talk him into condensing all his diaries into one volume. He was a great and wonderful man and he deserves better. Anyone else agreed with me?

Did you see the sample of his handwriting? Frankly, I'm impressed they got this much done in such a relatively short time!

I’d like to read them all too! For example, if they published them as e-books, then there would be only good outcomes - fans would be happy, they could learn from described things and to produce books in electronic form should be cheaper for publishers, so publishers should financially benefit from that a lot and more than usually I’d say.

Did you read any of this book? It was simply notes on times, places, and people he met: a very private list to remind himself of social connections. As you say, he was a great and wonderful artist, but I think that his memory is best served by not publishing his very private notes which don't begin to address his artistry but are simply social calendars. What a waste.
