Hey Elle I just wonder if you ever feel heartbreak after you’ve written you book. Your writing is so encapsulating, I honestly wish I’d found your books before I was 22, I love the romance. Once I finish reading the books there’s an ache in my heart and I honestly wish I could experience the same love the characters do, your stories are magical. Do you ever feel sad once the books are written? Do you want to say more

Elle Kennedy Sometimes I do feel sad, especially when it’s the last book in a series, because it’s something I’ve poured so much of myself into. You can feel when it’s time to end a series, though, so there’s this mix of relief and sadness. And I do miss the characters after I finish their story. I usually take a few weeks off between books in order to clear my head and officially say “goodbye”, if that makes sense.
