Jeffrey asked Glynnis Campbell:

I KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS WRITTEN A NOVEL BUT DOESN'T HAVE AN AGENT. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW A PERSON CAN FIND A GOOD AGENT?

Glynnis Campbell There's an organization called AAR (Association of Authors' Representatives), which lists only legitimate agents. But for a genre novel, you don't necessarily need an agent. You can easily self-publish worldwide without giving an agent 10-15% of your income.
