Jeffrey asked Glynnis Campbell:

THINKING ABOUT THE VARIOUS MEALS THAT THE CHARACTERS MAKE IN YOUR NOVELS, "INCLUDING "DANGER'S KISS", I WAS WONDERING, WHERE DO YOU FIND THE INFORMATION FOR SUCH MEALS IN ORDER TO MAKE SUCH PASSAGES IN THE NOVELS TO BE HISTORICALLY ACCURATE?

Glynnis Campbell Creating medieval dishes in books can be challenging, because most cooks didn't write down recipes, and the ones who did were often cooking for royal feasts. So I adapt some recipes and rely on historical mentions of things like "pottage," "oatcakes," game, and seasonal fruit for the rest.
