Sherri Kukla Actually book one of MotoMysteries - The Skeleton and the Lantern - was loosely based on a plot from our lives. When we were buying our property in the desert - where we currently live - there were some challenges about finalizing the deal, which caused my overactive imagination to start working and wondering. Is there gold on our property? While we didn't see any skeletons in the desert or discover any hidden treasure, it was the starting point for the MotoMysteries series.
