All of the MotoMysteries books up to this point have taken place in the desert, but this one ventures out to a new location. It's based on some places that we like to go a few times a year. During some of our recent visits, a story started forming in my head . . . and I can't say more or it will give away the location and some of the plot! Watch for book 4 to come out in early 2022!

My current work in progress is book 4 of the MotoMysteries series - "Harbor Point Haunt." This book introduces, Gavin, a brand new character. He is named after one of our young MotoMysteries fans, who also happens to be my pen pal. Is Gavin an old man, a young boy, a young adult? Will he be a permanent part of the series? Does he join the family? Is he a bad guy or a good guy? You'll have to read book 4 to find answers to all those questions!

Actually book one of MotoMysteries - The Skeleton and the Lantern - was loosely based on a plot from our lives. When we were buying our property in the desert - where we currently live - there were some challenges about finalizing the deal, which caused my overactive imagination to start working and wondering. Is there gold on our property? While we didn't see any skeletons in the desert or discover any hidden treasure, it was the starting point for the MotoMysteries series.
